Why Non-Stop dogwear?

We are active competitors in dog sled racing; Nordic style, sled and on bare ground. We find it of utmost importance that the equipment we use functions optimally to enable us to perform on a peak level. The Free Motion harness was our first product and the beginning of Non-Stop Dogwear. This came as a result of observations we had made during training and in competitions. We felt that the dogs were not able to perform in accordance with their capacity. We tried different types of harnesses, but none of them functioned optimally on our dogs. After having studied many films and pictures of dogs pulling, our assumptions were confirmed. The harnesses tended to slide upwards thus preventing free respiratory tract and causing severe foaming at the mouths of the dogs.

There were harnesses which did not have this problem, but these tended to lift the front part of the dogs while pulling. This caused a shortening of the dogs ´stride. Many of the harnesses on the market have not been changed or undergone any improvement over the last decades and we were determined to find a solution to the problems, but we were also aware that this would be a challenge.

Today we are extremely pleased with the harness we have developed, and we have also developed other products of a high quality. Our philosophy is to emphasize quality in our products rather than quantity. We differ from our competitors in that we develop and test out products on a peak level, while we aim at producing products that are better than anything else you can find on the market. Our goal is to launch new products every year.
