Tessa Philippaerts

Tessa used to be a top 5 track and field athlete in Belgium when she was younger. She started doing canicross with her whippet named Angel 13 years ago. She loves doing canicross but also bikejöring, scooter, skijöring and sled. Canicross is her main discipline and it will probably stay like that for a couple of more years.

She loves doing Canicross but also biking, scooter, skiing and sled. Canicross is her main discipline and it will probably stay like that for a couple of more years.

Born in Belgium, Tessa moved to Norway in 2019 and is currently living there with her boyfriend, Sigve. She finished her studies as a biomedical lab technician and has worked in a chemical lab for the last five years. Previous studies were languages/science. She is also a First aid worker.

Tessa has 4 dogs:

  • Yukon (8,5 years old): Alaskan Husky/ Hound mix
  • Unix (4 years old): Alaskan Husky
  • Lychee (3 years old): Scandinavian Hound
  • Petter (born 2019), German Shorthaired Pointer

  • Norwegian regional champion on 800m indoor senior.
  • Norwegian regional champion cross country senior.

  • 1 x vice European champion canicross ECF
  • 1 x bronze medal at the EC IFSS.
